I don’t know why but I tend to enjoy Bruce Campbell movies. Strange because there is always such bad acting and the script is almost always ridiculously far-fetched even form sci-fi standards.

Anyway, this last one that I watched is called My Name Is Bruce and you can view the HD movie trailer if you’d like. But remember: this is a Bruce Campbell movie and he is the king of B movies. So, don’t go expecting anything an A-lister would do. read more »

Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni was slightly leading former prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu in an Israeli electoral contest seen to have major implications for peace negotiations in the Mideast, according to elections officials.

By Wednesday morning local time, the votes had been counted at 99 per cent of the country’s polling stations. The votes showed Livni’s centrist Kadima party narrowly in first place with 28 of the Israeli parliament’s 120 seats.

Anyone see the movie, “Swing Vote”? Just brought it up because situations such as this show you how important every single vote can become. read more »

A sharp fall in exports in December pushed Canada to its first monthly trade deficit since March 1976, Statistics Canada said Wednesday.

The overall trade deficit for December was $458 million. In November, the trade surplus was $1.2 billion.

Whenever that stimulus package comes together, it will be too late. The damage to our economy has been done and it will take a while to recover. read more »

Yes, as the title might suggest. I am a massive movie lover. My weekend generally consists of me watching some HD movie trailers to get an idea of what I wanna watch. And then depending on the movie I either round up some friends to go to the theatres (is it theater or theatre?) or head over to blockbuster to rent it.

I’m not gonna lie to you, I do some downloading as well. But not often so don’t go being a friggen NARC cause I’ve paid my dues to hollywood in blockbuster late fees alone, lol. read more »

With the Guantanamo Bay military prison being set to shut down, opposition MPs are saying that it is in Canada’s best interest to bring terrorism suspect Omar Khadr home for monitoring.

This opposition call came shortly before a lawyer of Khadr’s and a group of Muslim leaders outlined a proposed reintegration plan for Khadr if he is returned to Canada.

George Radwanski, being charged with fraudulent expense claims, has been acquitted by an Ontario judge. These claims include a travel advance and a $16,000 payment in lieu of vacation he had received without actually accruing the work time to earn such a holiday.

Hmm, another story of another bigwig stealing more money in some fancy way and getting away with it. I think this is garbage. read more »

It seems that the Supreme Court of Canada has decided to rule against a couple of aboriginal bands in Alberta regarding a case of oil and gas revenues worth multimillion-dollars.

The decision was made last friday in a 7-0 voting ending this long time dispute between these pair of aboriginal bands and the federal government.

From what I have read, I think this was the right decision. The lost revenue they are claiming goes as far back as 1972 for god sakes. Why not stake your claim then? read more »
